Moselle, MS (May 13, 2022) – On Friday evening, May 13, a two-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Forrest County on a busy roadway.
According to authorities, the multiple-driver incident occurred in the area of U.S. Highway 11 approaching I-59. One vehicle was driving southbound when it collided with another similar sedan as freeway traffic began to slow in the area.
Firefighters and other emergency services, including Moselle EMTs, were dispatched to the location to assist individuals in need. The collision resulted in the injury of one person, and though they were rushed to an area hospital right away, their status is unknown at this time.
The severity of the vehicle collision was extensive, and a major stretch of the highway was closed for a time.
Police cleared the site immediately, and no additional information has been revealed. The collision’s circumstances are still being investigated.
