Union, MS (May 22, 2022) – Several parties were injured in a car accident that took place on a major highway in Union on Sunday morning, May 23.
According to local officials, the accident happened around 6:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of MS-15. A driver was traveling in the area when they suddenly lost control due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicle went off the side of the road and forcefully crashed. This caused extensive damage to the involved vehicle.
Local responders, including Union fire crews and paramedics, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. It is believed that several parties were hurt in the accident. The parties had to be extricated from the vehicle due to its damage. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were treated at the scene by paramedics and then rushed to the hospital for further treatment.
