Jackson, MS (November 3, 2022) – A woman lost her life in an auto accident that happened in Jackson on Thursday, November 3. The incident was reported to officials in the area who promptly responded to the scene.
Reports show that the incident occurred at around 12:45 p.m. on Highway 18 near the Maddox Road intersection. First responders arrived at the scene to find Pevey unconscious inside her vehicle.
She was pulled from her vehicle by paramedics who promptly began CPR. Sadly, she lost her life at the scene. A damaged pickup truck was found near where her car had crashed, though no one else was present in the area.
Authorities continue to investigate the details of the accident.
