Jackson, MS (November 15, 2022) – A car wreck was reported to officials in Hinds County on the evening of November 15. At approximately 11:34 p.m., the incident took place on Interstate 20.
Numerous responders were sent to the crash site to render aid and investigate. At this time, the total number of involved parties has not been reported.
Sources say the accident occurred on Interstate 20 past Norrell Road/exit 31. All westbound lanes were blocked while emergency crews worked in the area.
EMTs rendered aid to those with injuries. One or more people were taken by ambulance to area hospitals for treatment.
At this time, it remains unclear who/what caused the incident to occur. Authorities in Jackson continue to investigate the circumstances of the wreck.
