Pascagoula, MS – Ronald Woon Killed in Auto Accident on Jerry St Pé Hwy

Pascagoula, MS (November 16, 2022) – One person lost his life in a fatal auto accident reported in Pascagoula on the evening of November 16. At approximately 5:17 a.m., the wreck happened on Jerry St. Pé Highway. 

Police in Pascagoula stated the incident took the life of Ronald Woon, age 49, of Vancleave. He was killed while riding his motorcycle on the highway. 

Reports indicate the accident occurred when Wood was traveling south on the Pé highway on his motorcycle. He attempted to turn east onto the Homeport Causeway when a Mercedes headed north collided with him. 

Wood was pronounced deceased on-site. Authorities in Pascagoula are still investigating the details of the incident.
