Sumrall, MS (November 19, 2022) – The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal car crash in Sumrall on Wednesday night, November 16.
Sources say the wreck happened on MS 42. Police in Sumrall are still working to determine the cause of the incident. Three vehicles were involved in the accident, according to information from initial investigations.
One person reportedly lost their life in the crash. No one involved has been identified at this time.
MS 42 was closed while emergency crews were present. Local drivers were urged to use different routes of travel while the scene was occupied by first responders.
No further information has been reported to the public concerning the auto accident at this time.
