Jackson, MS (October 3, 2022) – A serious car wreck happened in Jackson on the evening of October 2. At around 5:55 p.m., emergency crews were sent to the wreck site to render aid to injured parties. 

Reports show that the collision occurred on Interstate 20 near Springridge Road, exit 36 in Hinds County. The total number of vehicles involved in the collision has not been reported at this time. 

Emergency crews including Mississippi state police, paramedics, and firefighters were sent to the wreck site a short time after it occurred in order to help the involved individuals. 

At this time, what caused the incident remains under the investigation of local police. One or more people were treated at the crash scene by emergency med techs, however, the identities and health conditions of the involved parties have not been released. 

Traffic was delayed in the area while crews worked to secure the scene and clear the roadway. Authorities in Jackson are still investigating the details of the incident.
