Mississippi Motorcycle Collisions

Meridian, MS - John Bethany, 42, Killed in Fatal Wreck on Hwy 19 N near House communityRecently, Mississippi was rated as the leading state for motorcycle accident deaths throughout the country. Nearly 15 fatalities occur for every 10,000 registered motorcycles statewide. Motorcyclists are at a higher risk of becoming severely injured when they become involved in traffic collisions due to having little to no protection against the force of other vehicles and the roadway.

When a motorcyclist is in a wreck with a car, truck, or another type of vehicle, the results are usually devastating. Some motorcyclists will sustain severe injuries that take years to heal, while others will lose their lives in seconds. Regardless of the severity of the injuries that happen in motorcycle accidents, the fact is that these wrecks almost always result in some type of injury for the motorcyclist.
