Oxford, MS (October 6, 2022) – The Oxford Police Department responded to provide assistance at the scene of a crash that took place on Thursday morning that resulted in injuries. On October 6, calls for help came in surrounding a crash that took place on Taylor Bend.

At around 12:15 a.m., a collision between vehicles blocked Taylor Bend in the area of old Taylor Road. The crash caused delays in the 2400 block of the roadway.

The incident prompted the police and firefighters to block multiple lanes of travel as they worked to clear the scene.

Medical personnel responded to the site of the crash to give medical care to the victims who were left injured as a result of this collision. At least one person was transported to a local hospital, where they underwent further care.
