Pascagoula, MS – Auto Collision Results in Injuries on Pascagoula River Bridge, I-10 near Gautier

Pascagoula, MS (October 18, 2022) – On the afternoon of October 17, a serious car crash happened in Jackson County. Responders were sent to the scene at around 5:20 p.m. 

What caused the incident to happen is still being investigated by area authorities. It occurred on the Pascagoula River Bridge on Interstate 10 just before the Gautier exit, exit 61. 

Paramedics rendered aid to those involved at the scene. Currently, the number of people who were injured has not been reported. 

Police, EMTs, and fire crews were observed at the scene for an extended period on October 17. Delays in traffic were observed while emergency crews worked in the area.
