Tunica, MS (October 5, 2022) – A major car accident happened on US 61 in Tunica on the afternoon of October 4. At approximately 7:27 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the wreck site to render aid.
According to information from local reports, the accident happened on US 61 at Old US 61 south/Flea Harbor Road. All southbound lanes of the road were blocked while the wreck site was occupied by responders.
Paramedics, police, EMTs, and other responders worked at the crash scene for an extended time period. The injured parties have not been identified at this time.
