Meridian, MS (September 16, 2022) – Three people were injured in a car wreck in Meridian on Thursday morning, September 15. The accident happened at approximately 9:00 a.m. in Lauderdale County.
Responders were called to the scene of the wreck on Aycock Road in the Zero Community. Two vehicles collided in the 800 block and injured a one-year-old child, his mother, and another woman.
All three victims were airlifted to local hospitals for treatment. Currently, what led to the crash is under investigation by local police.
The roadway was closed while the Mississippi Highway Patrol investigated the scene. We hope for the full recovery of the injured victims.
