Oxford, MS – Car Accident Ends in Injuries on Jackson Ave E near James Food Ctr

Oxford, MS (September 1, 2022) – A car wreck reported in Oxford resulted in injuries on the morning of September 1. Shortly after 1:00 a.m., emergency crews including EMTs and police were dispatched to the scene to help those involved. 

Reports show that at least one person sustained injuries in the collision that happened in the 500 block of Jackson Avenue East near the James Food Center. 

Paramedics treated those with injuries before transporting them to area medical centers for further care. The names of the involved individuals have not been reported to the public at this time. 

Traffic was delayed in the area while authorities worked at the scene. No further information has been reported at this time.
