Oxford, MS – Car Wreck near GNC on Jackson Ave W Results in Injuries

Oxford, MS (September 8, 2022) – At least one person was hurt in an auto accident that happened in Oxford on the evening of September 7. Shortly after 7:00 p.m., responders were dispatched to the crash scene to render aid to those involved. 

Police investigated the details of the incident that occurred near GNC on Jackson Avenue West. The total number of injured parties was not reported, however, paramedics were seen rendering aid to injured victims at the crash site. 

Currently, the names of those involved have not been reported. Authorities in the area are working to determine how the accident happened. 

Traffic was delayed in the vicinity of the crash scene while responders worked to clear the road. Nothing further has been reported concerning the nature of the accident at this time.
