Bay Springs, MS (February 6, 2023) – A major car accident was reported to police in Bay Springs on Monday morning, February 6. 

Emergency crews were notified of the accident at approximately 9:03 a.m. Two or more cars crashed in the northbound lanes of MS 18 near I-20. The roadway was blocked as a result of the incident. 

At least one person was hurt in the collision. At this time, the extent of the damages that resulted from the wreck remains under investigation.
