Jackson, MS (January 21, 2023) – A major car crash was reported to police in Jackson on the morning of January 19. Shortly after 9:00 a.m., emergency responders were sent to the scene of the accident on Interstate 20.
Information from reports shows the accident took place in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 in the vicinity of Pearson Road. An unknown number of cars crashed, resulting in injuries for those involved.
Various responders were seen working in the area shortly after the incident occurred. EMS rendered aid to injured victims while police officers investigated the circumstances of the accident.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation by local law enforcement officials. The number of injured parties has not been publicly disclosed.
