Marion County, MS (March 15, 2023) – According to local authorities, a serious car accident occurred in Carroll County on Tuesday afternoon, March 14.

At approximately 3:50 p.m., emergency dispatchers received calls concerning the incident on Highway 35, not far from the exit to Sunset Drive.

Multiple responders were sent to the crash scene to render aid. One or more injured parties were treated on-site and transported to local hospitals for further care, though their current conditions are unknown.

At least two cars crashed in the area and caused injuries. Authorities were at the scene investigating for an extended period of time, though their investigation remains active. No further details have been provided.
