That is why I am so thrilled to announce our five-year, $225,000 commitment to the Macon a Difference SEC Scholarship!We created this program through the Macon a Difference Foundation in honor of my eldest son, Macon McKinney. Macon had a huge heart for people who were struggling, and this scholarship carries on his legacy by lifting up students who work twice as hard just to get to the starting line.We are also proud to partner with Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss for this effort. Trinidad walked on at a Division II school, fought his way to back-to-back national championships, and became the SEC Newcomer of the Year. His grit, faith, and determination represent the exact spirit we are honoring with this award.Scholarship HighlightsTotal Investment: $225,000 over five years. Semester Awards: Six $7,500 scholarships each semester. Eligible States: Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee students attending SEC universities in their home state. Who Should Apply: Priority is given to first-generation college students, those with financial need, and students who have overcome significant adversity. If you or a student you love is ready to chase their dreams at an SEC school, we want to help you get there.
