Oxford, MS (July 17, 2022) – An injury accident happened in Oxford on the afternoon of July 17 that required an emergency response. The wreck was reported to officials in the area at approximately 1:25 p.m.
Reports indicate the accident occurred in the 1900 block of University Avenue near Cash Savers. Vehicles were involved in a crash in the area that ended in injuries for at least one person.
Paramedics rendered aid to injured victims at the scene. Those with extensive injuries were transported to local hospitals as needed. The extent of the injuries suffered in the crash has not been reported at this time.
