Oxford, MS (September 8, 2022) – A car crash happened in Oxford on the afternoon of September 8. At around 3:30 p.m., responders were seen in the area helping those involved.
The crash was reported to have taken place in the 1900 block of University Avenue near Oby’s. What led up to the wreck is still being investigated by area authorities.
Emergency responders including police, EMTs, and fire crews were seen helping injured victims in the area. The number of people who required emergency transportation to the hospital has not been reported at this time.
University Avenue was blocked off while police and other responders worked to secure the scene. The cause of the incident is being investigated by area authorities.
