Oxford, MS (July 21, 2022) – A car wreck reported in Oxford sent at least one individual to a hospital with injuries. Shortly after 7:00 a.m., the Oxford Police were sent to the scene of a wreck on Park Drive. 

Police in Oxford report that the accident happened between vehicles near Avent Park in the morning hours. Officers blocked the roadway while they worked to secure the scene and remove the damaged vehicles from the area. 

At this time, the total number of injured victims has not been reported. Paramedics rendered aid to those involved and transported seriously injured patients to area hospitals. 

We hope for the full recovery of those with injuries.
