Vicksburg, MS (June 29, 2022) – A serious auto collision happened in Vicksburg on Wednesday, June 29. At approximately 12:10 p.m, responders were sent to the scene of the wreck to help those involved.
Sources say the collision occurred on Ceres Boulevard near Interstate 20 for reasons still being investigated by police in the area. Paramedics were seen rendering aid to injured victims.
At least one injured person had to be transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment. The identities of those involved have not been released at this time.
The roadway was closed while emergency crews worked to secure the area.
