Monticello, MS (September 23, 2022) – One man lost his life in a three-vehicle collision on a roadway in Monticello. The wreck happened at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20.
Reports indicate the accident happened between a 2010 Ford Fusion, a 2020 Hyundai Elantra, and a 2024 Peterbilt. Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the scene, located on MS 27.
The Fusion was driven by Gregory Millican, age 40, who was headed south on MS 27 when he collided with the Elantra which was headed north. The Peterbilt was headed south when it collided with the Elantra, according to information from MHP.
Millican was pronounced deceased on-site by medical professionals. Authorities in Monticello continue to investigate the details of the incident.
