Why We Are Stepping Up: The Mama Justice Mission

At Mama Justice – MW Law Firm, our entire mission is built on helping people heal. We know what it takes to rebuild after an unimaginable tragedy.

Because of this, our commitment to our neighbors extends far beyond the courtroom. We are incredibly proud to be a primary sponsor and official community partner for the 2026 Dine for Disaster Relief campaign. By funding and amplifying this incredible initiative, we are standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the American Red Cross to ensure that when disaster strikes our community, help is immediately on the way.

What is “Dine for Disaster”?

Dine for Disaster Relief is an annual, community-focused event supporting the life-saving mission of the American Red Cross of Alabama and Mississippi.

The Red Cross responds to disasters large and small nearly 70,000 times a year—from widespread hurricanes and severe storms to localized home and apartment fires. The funds raised during this week go directly toward providing critical emergency support to local families, including:

  • Hot, nutritious meals for displaced families.
  • Warm blankets to protect children from the cold.
  • Safe housing and comfortable shelter.
  • Crucial health services and emotional support.

How You Can Help (It’s Deliciously Easy!)

You don’t need to be a first responder to make a difference. All you have to do is go out to eat! During the week of March 22 – 28, 2026, participating restaurants across North Mississippi and North Alabama will donate a portion of their sales directly to the local chapter of the American Red Cross.

Here is how to participate:

  1. Choose a Restaurant: Pick from the amazing list of participating local eateries in Tupelo, Starkville, Columbus, and across North Alabama.
  2. Enjoy Your Meal: Dine in or take out with your friends, family, and coworkers.
  3. Make an Impact: A portion of your bill goes directly to funding local disaster relief. (You can also choose to make an additional direct donation to the Red Cross at the restaurant or online!)

We are thrilled to support our local restaurant partners who are making this possible. While the list is always growing, some participating community favorites include:

  • Tupelo, MS: Blue Canoe, Bulldog Burger, The Grill at Fairpark, Harvey’s, Sweet Pepper’s Deli, Brick and Spoon, Loco Taco, and more!
  • Starkville, MS: The Grill at Central Station, Harvey’s, Bulldog Burger, Sweet Pepper’s Deli.
  • Columbus, MS: The Grill at Jackson Square, Harvey’s, The Lost Pizza Company.
