Brandi Denton Gatewood is a Mississippi attorney from Forest, Mississippi, with a career defined by her unwavering commitment to justice and advocacy.

Brandi began her legal career in 2010 as a judicial law clerk to then–Justice James W. Kitchens on the Mississippi Supreme Court, an experience that shaped her respect for the rule of law and the critical role of the judiciary. Following her clerkship, she entered private practice and quickly built a reputation as a staunch advocate for access to the courts, the right to a jury trial, and the protection of constitutional rights. Throughout her career, Brandi has represented individuals harmed by the negligence of others, served as court-appointed counsel for indigent defendants, and handled complex and high-stakes matters across both civil and criminal courts.

In addition to years in private practice, Brandi has held leadership roles within state and national legal organizations and is widely recognized for her service to the profession and her community. Her work reflects a deep belief that the justice system should be fair, accessible, and responsive to those who need it most.

Outside the courtroom, Brandi and her family live on a small hobby farm in Forest, Mississippi, alongside a lively collection of animals. When she’s not practicing law, she enjoys chasing live music, experimenting in the kitchen as an enthusiastic home cook, traveling near and far, and spending quality time with family and friends..
